SALISBURY — A passenger from a head-on collision on Goodman Lake Road was airlifted Thursday evening to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
The wreck occurred around 7 p.m. in the 6500 block of Goodman Lake Road near the intersection of Little Crane Cove Lane.
A white Chevrolet pickup truck appears to have struck a silver Ford Taurus at high speed, crushing the front ends of both vehicles. It’s unclear which driver was at fault or how exactly the accident occurred.
N.C. Highway Patrol Officer D.T. Sloop was investigating Thursday night.
