MOORESVILLE — What began as a misdemeanor larceny citation on Thursday led to a woman’s arrest and a $59,000 bond.
Deputies reported that after finding Pamela Marie Clontz, along with two others, loading $300 in scrap metal into a white Ford pickup in the 10,000 block of Unity Church Road, they found the woman had several outstanding warrants.
Clontz initially told deputies, according to the report, that her name was Pamela Marie Durham, but after an investigation, they were able to identify the woman.
Clontz, of 55 Swink St., Concord, was wanted for failing to appear in court on a felony larceny case, driving while license revoked and other traffic offenses in Cabarrus County. The two others were charged on citations and released.
The 38-year-old woman was charged with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer, larceny and possession of stolen goods and four counts of failure to appear.
She was given a $59,000 bond and was in jail Friday morning.
