Pet calendar deadline extended

The deadline for submitting pet pictures for the 2012 Faithful Friends Calendar has been extended until Sept. 1.
To assist those that need their petís picture taken, a photo shoot will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, at Shampooch & Kitty, Too Grooming at 1109 Old Concord Road.
Photos will be taken beginning at 4 p.m., first come, first served by Faithful Friends volunteers, who will take care of everything required for the photos to be published.

The cost to submit a picture for use in the Faithful Friends Calendar is $15 per picture. There is no additional charge for volunteers taking the pictures on Aug. 22. Pets must be secured safely on leashes on in pet carriers at this event.
The Faithful Friends Calendar is a fundraiser for Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary and will be available for sale in time for holiday shopping. For information on submitting photos in your possession on your own, go to the Faithful Friendís Website www.faithfulfriendsnc.org and download a calendar form.
Checks should be made payable to Faithful Friends.
