A Salisbury man was arrested Friday night after authorities say he hid marijuana in his Lay’s potato chip bag.
According to a Salisbury Police report, Edward Cathcart, 18, was stopped at about 11 p.m. Friday night after police saw the man’s mo-ped did not have front or rear lights.
Cathcart, of 811 W. Fisher St., was stopped by police as he pulled into his driveway, dropping the chips after police stopped him.
As officers spoke to the man, one of the officers picked up the chip bag, looked inside and found .39 ounces of marijuana.
Cathcart was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was given a $2,000 bond and was released after posting bond.
