For the second year in a row, a group of Oak Park Retirement residents tried their luck at the odds in Harrahís Cherokee Casino. The group left at 7 a.m. and arrived back to Oak Park at 11 p.m.
Along the way, residents toured the Old Fort Museum before their destination of Harrahís Casino in Cherokee.
Some residents came back with more cash in their pocket while others broke even or had a little less, but all gained fun-filled memories. Everyone was a winner with the beautiful mountain scenery, sounds of the slot machines, a variety of delicious meals and great fellowship.
The residents are already talking about next yearís lucky adventure.
