SALISBURY — Little-known in Salisbury, a local athletic padding manufacturer just had its best month ever and has increased its workforce by 50 percent.
Promats Athletics, which moved to a plant on Harrison Road last year from South Main Street, pads 90 percent of the major and minor league baseball stadiums in the country, as well as most Division I college athletic facilities.
