SALISBURY — The Rowan County United Way has announced today F&M Bank President Steve Fisher will serve as this year’s campaign chair.
Fisher will be charged with developing a goal and recruiting a cabinet of individuals to assist him.
“I look forward to leading United Way’s fundraising efforts in 2011 and I am honored to represent F&M Bank as we continue our ongoing commitment to our citizens,” Fisher said.
The campaign will kick off on Sept. 2 in conjunction with Downtown Salisbury’s Friday Night Out.
The BB&T Sunset Run 5K State Championship Race and the United Way Soapbox Derby Race will be a part of the kick-off festivities.
