McKinney – Basinger Engagement

David and Sherry McKinney of Salisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Brianne McKinney, to Zachary Dane Basinger, also of Salisbury.
Lauren is the granddaughter of Valeria Frances Jennings of China Grove, the late Billy Wayne Thomas Sr., and P.D. and Faye McKinney of Salisbury. A 2007 graduate of West Rowan High School and 2011 graduate of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College with an Associate degree in Medical Office Administration, she is employed by Cabarrus Eye Center of Concord.
Zach is the son of Randy and ?Sheila Basinger of Salisbury and the grandson of Sarah and the late Tony Basinger of Salisbury and Margie and the late Harvey Whittington of Concord. A 2005 graduate of West Rowan High School and 2007 graduate of RCCC with an Associate degree in Welding and Metallurgy, Zach is employed by Southern Mechanical in Albemarle.
The wedding is Oct. 8 at Kure Beach.
