Police: Man too intoxicated to process
SALISBURY, N.C. — A Salisbury man was arrested after reportedly missing a court date to answer to charges of underage drinking.
When Officer Mark Hunter of the Salisbury Police Department arrested Travis Parker, 21, at 610 N. Ellis St. on June 17, he found him to be too intoxicated to take to the police department for normal processing. He also found that Parker had additional charges for vandalism to real property and willful and wanton injury.
Parker was taken to the magistrate’s office, where he was given a $2,000 bond and placed in the Rowan County Detention Center.
