Fun at Cub Scout camp

SALISBURY — More than 100 boys gathered this week at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church on Sherrills Ford Road for the Rowan District of the Boy Scouts of America’s annual Cub Scout Day Camp.
Under the supervision of Scout leaders, including camp director Chris Holmes and volunteers, the boys took part in archery, BB gun target shooting, learning activities, craft-making, games and more.
The camp, which includes packs from across Rowan, wraps up today. Cub Scouts is open to boys in first through fifth grades. Visit rowandistrictbsa.com for more information.
