A son, Brody Foster, was born to Scott and Dianne Young of Salisbury on June 1, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. He has a brother, Bryant, 11, and a sister, Ally, 9. Grandparents are Larry and Betty Young of Salisbury, Calvin and Sherry Reid of Rockwell and the late Kenneth Bolden. Great-grandparents are James and Alta Mabe of Winston-Salem.
Jakob Richmond
A son, Jakob Aaron, was born to Aaron and Lydia Steele Richmond of Cleveland on May 25, 2011, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces. He has a sister, Alexandria, 6. Grandparents are Dr. John and Joy Steele of Cleveland and Patrick and Christina Richmond of Statesville. Great-grandparents are Eva and Len Dingeldey of Silver Creek.
Coen Overby
A son, Coen Lucas, was born to Daniel and Brandi Overby of China Grove on June 3, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. He weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces. He has a brother, Ethan, 2. Grandparents are Joe and Debbi Overby and Bryan and Tammy Pritchard, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparent is Peggy Dyer of Eden.
Jailen Harper
A son, Jailen Nicholas, was born to Jennifer Earnhardt of Salisbury and Damario Harper of China Grove on June 10, 2011, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, three ounces. He has two brothers, Damarion Harper, 2; Caleb Williams, 10; and a sister, Tabitha Williams, 9.
Grandparents are Reggie and Terrie Earnhardt of Rockwell and Alisha Harper of China Grove. Great-grandparents are Sandra Johnson and Tony Keys of Salisbury and Yvonne and Carl Harper of China Grove. Great-great-grandparents are Jean and James Earnhardt of Salisbury.
