SALISBURY — A tip to police led to the arrest of a Salisbury man who was found with 105 grams of marijuana, authorities said.
Police said they received a call about a man in a truck who was believed to be “carrying bags of cocaine,” a police report said. The truck was parked at 731 S. Church St., and police responded.
When officers arrived they walked up the driveway, but noticed a man placing something on the roof of the carport, the report said.
The officers told the man and others who were standing in the driveway that they received a call about suspicious drug activity, and asked the man what was on the roof of the carport.
The man told police it was nothing, but police found a bag containing 105 grams of marijuana.
Andre Tyrone Turner, 32, of 731 S. Church St., was charged with felony possession of marijuana and given a $7,500 secured bond.
