Salisbury — The South Salisbury Fire Department will hold its 60th anniversary celebration at the fire station from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 21.
Scheduled activities include an air medical helicopter presentation, fire extinguisher training, operation of a fire hose and vehicle extrication demonstrations.
In addition, displays from local public safety agencies will be available, as well as activities for children throughout the day.
South Salisbury Fire Department is located at 3207 Old Concord Road.
An opening ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., and a community lunch will be provided between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
