Privette inducted into Phi Eta Sigma
Laquasia Privette of Salisbury was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society April 16 at North Carolina Central University.
Phi Eta Sigma is one of the oldest and most prestigious honor societies for freshmen in the country with the purpose of encouraging and rewarding academic excellence of first year students.
Students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or above in at least one semester of their freshman year to gain membership. Membership automatically qualifies undergraduate students to apply for a scholarship from the National Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma.
Laquasia is a 2010 graduate of West Rowan High School.
