Salisburyís track teams rolled in a tri-meet with Thomasville and East Davidson on Tuesday.
Salisbury girls winners included Alisha Bradshaw (shot and discus), Najwa Allison (100 and 200), Katherine Shields (1600 and 3200), Summer Taylor (400), Emily Shields (800) and Jessica Heilig (high jump).
Salisbury also won relays in the 4×100 (Briunna Gibbs, Ayunna Alexander, Zacola Hamilton and Allison), 4×200 (Gibbs, Ayanna Holmes, Courtney Gillespie, Allison) and 4×400 (Shields, Holmes, Marlaweh Cole, Taylor).
n Winners for Salisburyís boys included Darien Rankin (high jump, long jump, triple jump), Justin Lewis (110 hurdles), Tyler Downs (300 hurdles), David Simons (1600), Corey Murphy (800), Keion Adams (shot and discus). Victor Faries and James Means tied for first in the pole vault.
Salisbury won relays in the 4×400 (Marqui Ross, Downs, Romar Morris, William Brown) and 4×800 (Ross, David Simons, Philip Simons and Faries).
n Gray Stone junior Hunter Latimer was named Stanly County Female Distance Runner of the Year at the county championships.
