I-85 exit blocked

Northbound traffic on Interstate 85 cannot exit at Jake Alexander Boulevard this evening.
Salisbury Police say it could be four hours — 10:30 p.m. — before utility crews get to the Northbound exit ramp to fix a downed utility pole.
The pole was struck by a car that police say continued heading north on I-85.
Traffic on Jake Alexander Boulevard is being rerouted at the intersection of Old Concord and Klumac roads.
Those traveling south on I-85 can exit onto Jake Alexander, but northbound travelers cannot.
