SALISBURY – A Salisbury man on a moped was arrested Tuesday night for threatening officers with the Granite Quarry-Faith Joint Police Force and Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.
Authorities came into contact with Brian Dale Jackson, 38, as they were investigating a suspicious person call at 160 Castle Drive in Salisbury.
The report said Jackson, on a moped, was uncooperative with officers, and was arrested for resist, obstruct and delay.
While officers were arresting him and placing him in the back of a patrol car, a report says Jackson kicked and fought with the officers, and also threatened them.
No one was injured during the incident.
Jackson was charged with resist, obstruct and delay, as well as communicating threats to an officer and assault on an officer. Wednesday afternoon he was in the Rowan County jail under a $2,000 secured bond.
