SALISBURY —The Carolina Artists Student Art Expo opens at 5 p.m. this evening, March 24 at the Salisbury Civic Center. Students from all the schools in Rowan County will be participating, both public and private, grades K-12.
An added feature this year is an exhibit of artwork from the art teachers.
Last year, more than 850 pieces of artwork were shown.
Awards will be presented at 6 p.m. Thursday.
The show will continue on Friday, opening at 9 a.m. closing at 4 p.m.
