Today is the last day for property owners to informally appeal their new tax values to the Rowan County Tax Assessor’s Office.
All appeals must be in writing — no verbal appeals will be accepted — and submitted no later than today. Fill out one appeal form per parcel.
The form and a complete copy of any appraisal report or document(s) supporting your opinion of value can be mailed to the office at 402 N. Main St., Suite 201, Salisbury, NC 28144-4391, or faxed to 704-642-2050.
An informal appeal form was attached to each revaluation notice sent out March 1. Additional forms can be found online at www.rowancountync.gov.
