The Salisbury Police Department is investigating an alleged rape.
A 32-year-old woman reported the rape from Rowan Regional Medical Center emergency room about 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Lt. Shelia Lingle said it is unclear where the alleged rape took place.
Police are still interviewing the victim and collecting supplemental evidence.
