Salisbury to get help with housing

RALEIGH (AP) ó Almost 800 affordable homes and rental units will be repaired or built in North Carolina, courtesy of $43 million in funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta.
FHLBank Atlanta said Thursday in a news release that it will award more than $8 million to assist in funding 18 affordable housing developments in North Carolina. The developments are in Asheville, Charlotte, Cornelius, Durham, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Green-ville, Laurinburg, Lenoir, Lincolnton, Pittsboro, Salisbury, Washington, Wilkesboro, Wilmington and Yadkinville.
