Two face felony drug charges

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has charged two people with several drug violations following an investigation into complaints about a Salisbury home.
Neighbors reported that the occupants at 1060 Twin Chapel Drive were involved in the sale of controlled substances. On Jan. 28, detectives of the Sheriff Special Investigations Unit executed search warrant at the residence.
During the search, detectives seized 7 grams of crack cocaine, 650 grams of marijuana, more than $300 in cash and a .380 caliber handgun. As a result of the investigation, the following charges were filed:
• Dawn Alexander, 34, 1060 Twin Chapel Drive, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $15,000.
• Andre Marese Brown, 29, 1060 Twin Chapel Drive, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm by a felon, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $20,000.
