Thieves stole catalytic converters from three Schwan’s Home Service trucks sometime over the weekend.
According to Rowan Sheriff’s Capt. John Sifford, an employee noticed on Monday six converters were missing from the trucks.
It appeared that thieves gained access through a fence at the distribution center/warehouse and sawed off the converters from the vehicles.
The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.
No arrests have been made at this time and no other similar incidents have been reported.
