Two men charged with the December murder of Richard “Richie” Carl Reeder, Jr. were indicted last week by the Rowan County grand jury.
Clinton Bruce Rhoney, 21, and Gary William Highley, 30, were each indicted for felony first-degree murder. They both remain in the Rowan County jail without bond.
Reeder was found in a creek at the Salisbury City Park the morning of Dec. 12.
Less than 48 hours later, the Salisbury Police Department charged Rhoney and Highley in Reeder’s murder.
