Report: Car break-ins during Sunday services

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they suspect of taking items from several cars in the parking lot of a church during Sunday services.
The items were reported stolen from Gold Hill Baptist Church, 16141 Old Beatty Ford Road, last Sunday.
The church’s security video shows a small SUV enter the rear parking lot of the church, and then pull out of the cameraís view.
The sheriffís office believes the vehicle may be Chevrolet Blazer, and may be green in color.
The suspect can be seen approaching several vehicles. The suspect was wearing a dark-colored toboggan, dark jacket and a pair of tan or khaki pants.
Taken from the vehicles were four cell phones, two rifles with scopes, tools and cash.
