Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) has made it easier for anyone to take on-line courses through its ěEducation-to-Go,î or ěed2go,î program.
Ed2go courses start monthly and run for six weeks. Two lessons are provided each week, with students having two weeks to complete each lesson. A short, multiple-choice quiz follows each lesson.
Introductory to advanced courses are offered, with topics including:
Accounting;
Teaching and education;
Grant writing for non-profits;
Health care;
Sales and marketing;
Basic computer;
Software applications;
Web and computer programming;
Graphics and multimedia design;
Database management;
PC networking and security;
Business and creative writing;
Digital photography;
Personal finance;
Languages;
Test preparation;
Business legal issues.
The ed2go courses are offered completely online and designed to be affordable and convenient, giving students the ability to study on their own time and at their own pace.
The next registration deadline for RCCC ed2go classes is Jan. 17, with classes starting Jan. 19. The following registration cut-off is Feb. 14, with classes starting Feb. 16.
