Christmas schedules- Rowan-Kannapolis ABC Stores will close at 6 p.m. Thursday (Christmas Eve) and reopen Saturday.
The following agencies or governmental units to be closed Thursday and Friday for observance of Christmas:
– Most state agencies including courts, district attorney etc.
– Most Rowan County offices;
– Social Security Administration, 1816 E. Innes St.;
– Kannapolis City offices. No garbage collection on Christmas Day, pickup will be Saturday;
– Rockwell town offices. Garbage pickup scheduled Friday will be Thursday;
– Granite Quarry town offices. Garbage pickup scheduled for Friday will be collected instead on Saturday.
– Salisbury City offices. Garbage and recycling pickup will be collected Saturday instead of Friday.
– Spencer town offices. Garbage scheduled for pickup on Thursday will be collected instead on Wednesday.
New Years Day Closings- Rowan-Kannapolis ABC stores will close at 8 p.m. on New Years Eve (Dec, 31) and reopen on Saturday.
Agencies or governmental units closed Friday Jan. 1, in observance of New Year’s Day:
– Most Rowan County offices;
– Most state agencies including courts, district attorney etc.
– Kannapolis City offices; no change in garbage service.
– Rockwell town offices closed; garbage pickup scheduled Friday will be Thursday.
– Granite Quarry offices. Garbage pickup scheduled for Jan. 1 will be collected instead on Saturday, Jan. 2.
– Salisbury City offices; no change in garbage service.
– Spencer town offices; no change in garbage service.
