Fire hits mobile home

KANNAPOLIS ó A mobile home off West C Street was apparently heavily damaged by fire shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Enochville and Kannapolis firefighters responded to the Pembrook Drive location after multiple 911 calls reporting the home on fire.
Initially firefighters believed someone was in the house and called for EMS to assist with a burned patient.
Firefighters quickly determined no one was in the home.
The location is off Nathan Drive, off West C Street near the Rowan-Cabarrus County line.
Firefighters called in the American Red Cross to provide shelter for two adults and one child.
No other information was immediately available.
