Drug charges against Kannapolis man

KANNAPOLIS ó A 29-year-old man is in the Cabarrus County Jail under $125,000 bond facing multiple felony charges.
On Saturday, police arrested Christopher Maurice Wiggins at Royal Oaks Gardens apartments, 1715 Furman Court.
Police had been looking for Wiggins to serve several city warrants and Cabarrus County Sheriff’s warrants.
Lt. Tony Clark said when police arrested Wiggins, they found two bags of marijuana in his pocket.
Wiggins faces the following charges: two counts of possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine; assault on a female; assault with a deadly weapon; possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm; possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
