RCCC management courses
The Corporate & Professional Development Office at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer basic supervision and project management courses in early 2010.
RCCC will offer the “Basic Supervision Certificate” program 4-8 p.m. Thursdays, March 18ńApril 15. The course fee is $315, including class materials. The class will meet at RCCC’s Cabarrus Business & Technology Center (CBTC), 660 Concord Parkway N., in Concord. The basic supervision course teaches principles of interpersonal communication, effective listening, how to give constructive feedback, how to delegate work for shared success and how to give recognition.
RCCC will offer the “Fundamentals of Project Management” course 5-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 10-April 14. There is a course fee of $745, plus materials costing approximately $100. The class will meet at the CBTC. Project planning, scheduling, resource assignment, documentation and scope definition are covered in the course.
