Youth cheerleading program
The board of director for the Rowan County Youth Football League has set a goal this year of of building its youth cheerleading program.
The league’s $80 registration fee will now cover the cost of new cheerleading uniforms that consist of a skirt and top that will favor most middle and high school cheer teams.
League registration begins:
– Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon at Salisbury Mall.
– Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Knox Middle School.
– Aug. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Erwin Middle School.
– Aug. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Rowan Middle School.
– Aug. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at South Rowan High School.
– Aug. 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Rowan Middle School.
Sample uniforms will be available for sizing.
