Former U.S. Sen. Bob Dole will be campaigning in Salisbury this morning for his wife, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole. At 9:35 a.m., Bob Dole is scheduled to be at Wink’s Restaurant, 509 Faith Road in Salisbury.
Elizabeth Dole, a Salisbury native, is seeking re-election to her U.S. Senate seat in North Carolina. Bob Dole stopped in at his wife’s state headquarters in Salisbury Thursday night. The headquarters office is located at 401 E. Innes St.
In Lexington, Bob Dole will be at Smiley’s BBQ at 10:45 a.m. today, at Char’s Burgers at 11:15 a.m. and Davidson County GOP headquarters at 12:30 p.m.
In Forsyth County, he will be at the Winston-Salem Victory Headquarters at 2 p.m.
He will visit the Davie County GOP headquarters in Mocksville at 5 p.m. today.
