Walk Thru Bethelem enters its fifth year with a new location

The fifth year of Walk Thru Bethlehem finds the production at a new location, Camp Wesley, 3090 Deal Road in Mooresville.
For two weekends, you can become a part of first-century Bethlehem with the interactive outdoor drama.
Experience it Fridays, Dec. 5 and 12 from 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays, Dec. 6 and 13 from 4 to 9 p.m.
Camp Wesley in centrally located between Mooresville, Kannapolis, Davidson and Salisbury between N.C. 3 and 152.
Camp Wesley was established in 1946 and has been holding interdenominational camp meetings ever since. It is a fitting home for the Walk Thru Bethlehem, which is sponsored by Mooresville’s Central United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, St. Luke Orthodox Church, St. Therese Catholic Church, Triplett United Methodist Church and Lake Norman Fellowship.
New partners are Beulah Heights Wesleyan and the other associated Camp Wesley congregations.
The Walk Thru Bethlehem provides a holiday family event for the community. The outdoor drama takes you through Bethlehem’s marketplace to the living nativity and beyond.
The inspiration for the event started with a walk in Georgia that has grown from 10 volunteers and 100 guests to more than 500 volunteers and 15,000 guests annually.
Mooresville’s Walk Thru Bethlehem is in its fifth year and hosted more than 2,800 visitors last year.
Admission is free.
The marketplace will have beef vegetable soup, baked goods, hot drinks and gifts. Parking is available on the property. Love offerings are accepted.
