CAREER: Munger has taught economics and political science for more than 20 years at several universities, including Dartmouth College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was promoted to full professor at Duke University in 2000 and later named chair of its political science department. He also has joint appointments in Duke’s economics and public policy departments. Munger has published more than 80 articles and papers in professional journals and edited volumes, and he has co-authored or co-edited four books.
