One driver was airlifted to the hospital after a two-car wreck Christmas night on Faith Road.
Two other people involved in the accident were taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center, authorities said.
The names of the people hurt in the accident were not available Thursday night.
The driver of a Ford Contour was traveling north on Faith Road near the intersection of Barringer Street around 8:15 p.m., said Trooper D.T. Sloop of the Highway Patrol.
Two people were traveling south on Faith Road in a Toyota sedan, Sloop said.
“The Ford Contour went left of center and was struck by the Toyota,” he said.
Sloop said he did not know if speed was a factor in the accident.
The Ford’s driver was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center. Family members of the driver declined to talk to a reporter at the scene of the accident.
