In celebration of National Nutrition Month, the W.G. “Bill” Hefner VA Medical Center, Nutrition and Food Service Department is sponsoring a food drive to provide donations for the Rowan Helping Ministries Food Pantry.
Rowan Helping Ministries provides food from the food pantry, meals in the soup kitchen and shelter from the environment for needy members of our community, including many veterans.
The drive runs now through March 21. Collection boxes for non- perishable food items will be located in the lobbies of buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11 and 42 on the campus of the VA Medical Center at 1601 Brenner Ave.
