Two in Landis facing drug charges

Landis Police have charged two Kannapolis residents with trafficking in drugs.
Michelle Lea McDaniels, 25, and Richard Matthew Ross, 26, both of 668 Patterson Ave., are being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under $150,000 bond each.
Officer F.A. File also filed charges of conspiracy to traffic. McDaniels and Ross face four counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver drugs including methadone, oxycodone, hydrocodone and alprazolon.
McDaniels is also charged with felony possession of cocaine.
Both are scheduled to appear in Rowan District Court Thursday.
