Three people were shot Monday night at a local motel, according to Salisbury Police.
The shooting occurred at the Economy Inn on Bendix Drive, Officer Brian Cooper said.
Cordera Rayshard Brown, 20, of 200 Grant St., East Spencer, was transported to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, Cooper said.
Brown was in fair condition Tuesday night.
The identities and medical conditions of the other gunshot victims were unavailable.
Cooper said police received a call about gunshots at the motel at 9:14 p.m. Monday. An officer went there but did not find anything suspicious, he said.
Police got a second call at 9:27 p.m., Cooper said. Officers returned to the motel and discovered the gunshot victims.
Detectives are investigating the case, Cooper said.
