Four teens face a total of more than 60 charges for their involvement in a string of burglaries discovered when parents of one of the teens called to report their daughter was missing.
Salisbury Police charged:
– Timothy Paul Wiseman Jr., 17, of 162 Kitty Lane, China Grove, with two counts of first-degree burglary, eight counts of breaking and entering of motor vehicles and one count of larceny from motor vehicle. Wiseman remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.
– Dustin William Hartsell, 17, of 309 N. Moriah St. Landis, with nine counts of breaking and entering of motor vehicles, nine counts of larceny from motor vehicles and one count of motor vehicle theft. Hartsell remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
– Tina Laray Austin, 16, of 135 Cedar Ridge Lane, China Grove, with one count of first-degree burglary, eight counts of breaking and entering motor vehicle and seven counts of larceny from motor vehicle. Austin remains in the county jail under a $10,000 bond.
Police are searching for the fourth suspect, Derrion Crawford, 17, of 707 S. Valley St. Landis.

Crawford is wanted on 17 outstanding warrants.
In early October, Austin’s parents called authorities, saying their daughter had run away from home with her child.
The incidents occurred on Confederate Avenue, Richmond Road, Stonewall Road and Freedom Drive, all in Salisbury.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office had charged the group in October with various break-ins.
Officials said vehicles were mostly the target of their crime spree.
The teens were linked to the thefts after items were seized from Wiseman’s home.
