Teenager charged with statutory rape

SPENCER ó A Spencer teen was charged Thursday with statutory rape.
Dante Mitchell, 17, of 906 Second St., was charged with statutory rape/sex offense with a 13-year-old girl.
He’s being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $15,000 bond.
