CONCORD ó Stanley Steemer has purchased 2.5 acres in the International Business Park off Interstate 85 to build a satellite facility that will employ 30 to 35 people.
Steven Rohletter owns the the Stanley Steemer franchise serving multiple counties in the Charlotte market.
Rohletter plans to build a 12,000-square-foot building and picked the International Business Park because of its easy access to clients in Concord, Davidson, Cornelius and other locations north of Charlotte.
“Not only will this location allow us better serve our expanding client base, but we found the workforce in Cabarrus County attractive for our expansion,” Rohletter said in a press release.
Stanley Steemer will operate 13 trucks from the facility. The firm plans to break ground within a year and complete the facility in two years.
Rohletter started the Charlotte Stanley Steemer in 1997 and currently employs 79.
CB Richard Ellis brokered the deal on behalf of the Nolim Group, which owns the park.
