Statutory rape charge
A Spencer man is in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond after being charged Tuesday with statutory rape.
Osman Reniery Arriola Gutierrez, 22, of 427 N. Yadkin Ave., is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl.
According to an arrest warrant filed by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office, the offenses occurred between July 1 and July 31, 2006.
