Smart Start forum
Smart Start Rowan will hold a Kindergarten Readiness Forum at 6:30 p.m. June 23 at its 1839 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. office.
A panel of experts, including representatives from Rowan-Salisbury Schools, parents and early childhood educators, will discuss how parents can prepare a child and themselves for a successful transition.
The free forum is for all parents and guardians of children preparing to enter kindergarten. A donation from the Salisbury Altrusa Club and Smart Start will provide kindergarten readiness kits for participants.
