Silver alert

RALEIGH 3:29 PM – The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Wayne Ramsey.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Wayne Ramsey, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Anyone with information about Wayne Ramsey should call Det. Scott Gaddy at the Madison County Sheriff’s Department at 828-649-3557.

Mr. Ramsey has a mole on the back of his head and a tattoo of a cross on his left ankle.

Clothing Description:
Mr. Ramsey was last seen wearing a light blue and cream colored, plaid, long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants. He was also wearing brown lace up shoes.

Mr. Ramsey may be trying to get to his son’s residence in McAllen, Texas.
