A computer, coins and other items valued at $1,510 were stolen during a Jan. 10 burglary, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department.
Bruce Dalton Scott, 515 Walton Road, reported the break-in and theft at his home after the suspect pried open a locked door.
In other Sheriff’s Office reports:
– Charles Harley Wade Moore, 21, 907 Circle St., Kannapolis, was charged Jan. 10 with injury to real property and failing to appear in court on a robbery charge. He was held under total secured bond of $2,500 pending the next session of Rowan Superior Court.
– Bobbie Lynn Pittman, 19, Robert Lynn Pittman, 44, and Valerie Gail Josey Pittman, 37, all of 14775 Statesville Blvd., Cleveland, were charged Jan. 10 with second-degree trespassing based on a complaint by Kimberly Shanholtz, same address. All were released on a written promise to appear in court Feb. 7.
– Ty Oliver Roy Webb, 17, 1055 Red Oak Drive, was charged Jan. 10 with felony second-degree burglary and felony larceny in China Grove. He was held under $10,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– William Ray Russell, 42, 2175 Mary St., China Grove, was charged Jan. 10 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance. He was held under $2,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Kevin Lyn Eaton, 17, 1429 Oakridge Farm, Mooresville, was charged Jan. 10 with felony forgery of instrument. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Jason Darrell Athey, 5204 Agner Drive, reported a burglar tried to break into his property Jan. 10, damaging a door latch.
– Sarah Earnhardt Gomez, 165 Mahaley Road, reported $100 damage to a door casing after a burglar broke into her home Jan. 10.
– Valentina Hefner Carlile, 1330 Neel Road, reported Jan. 10 that someone had stolen a gun from her home.
– Jeffrey Lynn Moss, 43, 315 Falcon Lane, was charged Jan. 10 with assault on a female based on a complaint by Tracie Farrington Moss, same address. He was held pending a bond hearing. Trial date is Feb. 20.
– A catalytic converter theft was thwarted Jan. 10 when Scott Alan Chinn, the truck’s owner, turned on an outside light at his business, SC Enterprises, 6515B Mooresville Road, Mooresville. The suspects fled in a dark green or brown truck.
– Lee Carlton Leibrand, 440 Pipeline Road, China Grove, reported $60 worth of medication was stolen from his home the night of Jan. 10.
