Scribner to publish first lady Laura Bushís memoir

WASHINGTON (AP) ó First lady Laura Bush has sealed a deal with Scribner to publish her memoir.
The publishing house said in a statement Monday that the book will provide an intimate account of the first ladyís eight years in the White House, and will reveal her recollections of personal and historical moments.
The memoir is expected to be published in 2010. A White House statement on the book did not disclose how much Mrs. Bush is being paid for the effort.
Bush was represented by Washington attorney Robert Barnett, whose many clients include former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sen. Edward Kennedy.
Scribner is a division of Simon & Schuster Inc., a part of CBS Corp.
