SAT and ACT scores

SAT and ACT scores of Rowan-Salisbury high school seniors held steady this year compared to last year’s numbers, according to data the state released today.
Scores in the Rowan-Salisbury School System still lag behind the state and nation.
The average SAT score among seniors this year was 1,434. That compares to a state average of 1,489 and a national average of 1,511.
The average ACT score for Rowan-Salisbury graduating seniors was 19.5 รณ almost two points below the state average.
Most Rowan-Salisbury high schools saw a jump this year in the percentage of students who scored well on advanced-placement tests.
