Salisbury woman charged with opium trafficking

A Salisbury woman was charged Wednesday with three counts of trafficking opium or heroin.
Latesha Daniels, 33, of 540 Hannah Ferry Road, is being held under a $70,000 bond at the Rowan County Detention Center.
According to arrest warrants filed at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office, Danielss ordered, received and carried away from Central Carolina Pharmacy medications and records belonging to Linda Leach.
Her first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
