Salisbury police are investigating a report that medication was stolen at the homeless shelter at 226 N. Long St.
George Andrew Jones told officers 12 of his pills were stolen while he was at the shelter the night of Aug. 17.
In other Police Department reports:
– A counterfeit forged check was cashed between Aug. 8 and 18 at F&M Bank, 102 S. Avalon Drive.
– Katrina Louise Gillam of Salisbury reported she had been scammed out of $3,500 after she tried to purchase what turned out to be a non-existent motorcycle on the Internet between Aug. 9 and 18.
– Glenna Todd Passmore, 125 Chesapeake Drive, reported vandals scratched her vehicle while it was parked at her home between July 27 and Aug. 4.
– Wilma Kolgo reported someone had forged and cashed four of her checks at CVS and Rite-Aid pharmacies between Aug. 2 and 19. Total loss was $445.14.
– Aisha Monica White, 27, 245 Arrowood Road, No. 3, and a juvenile were charged Aug. 18 with misdemeanor larceny of two cell phone chargers from Kmart, 815 E. Innes St. She was held under $300 secured bond pending a Sept. 29 trial date.
– Michelle Evette Gaston reported an Aug. 18 vandalism at 601 Faith Road.
– An 18-year-old male reported he was assaulted with a dangerous weapon Aug. 18 at the corner of East Henderson and North Main streets.
– Kenneth Jones Jr., 16, 2634 Old Wilkesboro Road, No. 61R, was charged Aug. 18 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer, disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace and selling cigarettes to minors following a disturbance involving 10-15 juveniles in the 200 block of Lloyd St. Trial date is Sept. 10.
