Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigators have charged a Salisbury man with selling marijuana to an undercover officer at his home.
Deputies executed a search warrant Thursday at the home of Courtney VanLandingham, 311 Scott Road.
“An undercover detective with the Sheriff’s Office had purchased approximately 50 grams of marijuana from VanLandingham at his residence” on Monday, “leading to the execution of the search warrant,” the Sheriff’s Office reported in a press release.
Though deputies did not find any more drugs during Thursday’s search, they charged VanLandingham, 35, with possession with intent to sell marijuana and sale and delivery of marijuana.
He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $5,000 secured bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court Monday.
